Ryan Place will hold an art contest and the winning art will become the official art for the centennial commemoration logo and poster art. Below are some of the guidelines of the contest. Please download the complete Centennial Art Contest Rules, Registration, and Submissions forms.
- Only Ryan Place residents are eligible to compete.Only original artwork conceived and created by the entrant will be considered for the contest. Each entry must be accompanied with the proper form signed stating this and giving RPIA the rights to use the art for centennial commemoration promotional purposes.
- You must register to participate in the contest. Please pick up a registration form at 1315 Elizabeth Blvd. The forms will be on the side porch located by the driveway.
- All logo and poster art submissions must include the 8th Avenue and Elizabeth Boulevard entry column(s) and have it displayed predominantly within the piece submitted.
- The theme of the centennial commemoration poster art is “Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, Embrace the Future.”
- All drawing, painting, or digital art will be accepted.
- The winner will be announced during the Ryan Place Memorial Street Dance, attendance is not required.

Top three winners in each category will receive gift certificates from local businesses to be announced.
